H. A. "Andy" Andersen: Engineering Hall of Fame - 1998

Founded by H.A. "Andy" Andersen in 1950, the Andersen Construction Company recently completed this beautiful CH2M Hill Alumni Center where we now reside. Other projects constructed by Andersen Construction under his leadership include significant parts of the Hewlett-Packard campus here in Corvallis and the Hilton Hotel and Standard Insurance Building in Portland. He is one of the founding members of the OSU Construction Education Foundation. The enormous success of the Andersen Construction Company and its founder's equivalent generosity have helped OSU's programs in Construction Engineering Management and Civil Engineering to grow and prosper.
